Multi-Nation Program (MNP), YEAR 2014

Ashfaq Ahmad Khan has served over the last 16 years in various leadership positions in the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP). Mr. Khan contributed in various positions of law enforcement in improving interrogation methods, investigation techniques, modernizing crime investigations, promoting community policing, reforming the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) and driver’s licensing system, establishing the first ever police FM radio station and traffic theme park in Islamabad. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded the President’s Police Medal (PPM) in 2012. Mr. Khan has also served and contributed as Assistant Inspector General of Police in the National Highways and Motorways Police (NH&MP), an organization which has been termed as “an island of excellence” in Pakistan. Mr. Khan is presently serving as District Police Officer in district Bahawalpur (Punjab).
